Opa Cove™ launched in 2009, after years of careful planning. We’re a small, happy company of very fluid thinkers based in Eugene, Oregon. We have deep ties overseas, to ensure high quality and reliable manufacture. And we’re deeply committed to safety, as you’ll learn by exploring this website.

Opa Cove’s official mission:
“To enhance family life and create products that foster family interaction, children’s safety, and fun.”

It’s a mission we take seriously. Nothing is more important than a child’s well-being. But too many water safety products are boring, irritating or embarrassing from a kid’s point of view. That’s why we engineer everything at Opa Cove to be something a kid can’t wait to get into.

By the way, we picked the name Opa because that’s what the ancient Greek mariners yelled when they were having a good time. And everybody knows that a sheltered Cove is the best place to swim. Good times and safe harbor.
